About Laurel Zacher

So you want to know more about me? I’m the Reputation Manager for Weidner Apartment Homes, based in the Greater Seattle area, with properties throughout the western United States and Canada.  We represent over 30,000 apartment homes across more than 173 communities.  The views and opinions expressed here are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer.

I’ve been a Marketing Director with hands-on responsibility for marketing a wide range of communities, including conventional Class A/B/C, Senior Housing and Affordable/Section 8 communities.  I have also been in charge of setting and writing leasing training curriculum.

I’m not kidding when I say I’m passionate about this industry and how digital solutions are changing how we do our jobs.  I love social media, the internet, technology in general and exploring new possibilities to make deeper connections with residents – both current and future.

I take the work very seriously; I try not to take myself seriously.
